What this page is

This is a plain-language starting point, not a legal document written or reviewed by a lawyer. Replace the bracketed placeholders below with your own details before you rely on it, and if you expect visitors from the EU/UK, California, or anywhere else with specific privacy laws, have a professional review it — the disclaimer at the bottom explains why.

What we store

The board data you create (rotation names, people, and turn history) is stored in a shared database (Firebase Firestore) so everyone with the link sees the same board. There is no login and we don't knowingly collect names tied to real identities beyond whatever you type into the board yourself.

Cookies and local storage

This site uses your browser's local storage to remember your theme choice (light/dark) and whether you accepted or declined ads. If you accept ads, Google may also set cookies to show and measure ads, as described below.

Advertising

[IF YOU'VE BEEN APPROVED FOR ADSENSE:] We show ads through Google AdSense to help keep this tool free. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or by declining the cookie prompt on this site.

Disclaimer: This template is provided as a starting point only and is not legal advice. Privacy law (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and others) can require specific disclosures, a cookie-consent mechanism recognized by regulators, and a lawful basis for processing depending on who visits your site and where they're located. If your site will have meaningful traffic — especially from the EU/UK or California — consider using Google Funding Choices (free) for a compliant consent banner, and consult a lawyer for anything beyond a hobby project.
